Harshitha Ram is an international disputes attorney, arbitrator, and mediator with a globally recognized practice in domestic U.S. and international arbitration and mediation. She is known for her ability to manage complex, high-value disputes with procedural rigor, sound judgment, and cultural fluency. She has served as sole arbitrator in several hundred matters, including large and intricate cases exceeding USD 30 million, earning the confidence of parties, counsel, and institutions across jurisdictions.

Ram is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), London, and in 2013 became the youngest arbitrator ever appointed by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Court of Arbitration, Paris. She is a Distinguished JAMS Fellow, an Incubator Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals, and serves as Chair of the ADR Section of the Detroit Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the American Bar Association. She sits on several renowned and distinguished arbitration and mediation panels nationally across the United States and internationally, reflecting her standing within the global ADR community.

Ram is an adjunct professor of law at Michigan State University and a sought-after speaker at leading conferences, law schools, and ADR forums worldwide. She is also the Founder and President of the Global Arbitration Mediation Academy (GAMA), an international initiative dedicated to advancing excellence in ADR education and best practices in arbitration and mediation. An arbitrator and door tenant with the renowned 33 Bedford Row Barristers’ Chambers, London, she is multilingual and culturally adept, with a deep sensitivity to cross-cultural dynamics and a reputation for fair, principled, and effective dispute resolution.
